Volunteer

We are forming four standing committees, guided by our legal counsel. Partnerships builds links with environmental, community, scientific and legal allies across Portugal. Marketing tells people in Lagos who we are, through social media and live events. Technology handles email, social accounts and the tools we need. Actions organises peaceful public activities. Tell us which you would like to join — we will only contact you about the campaign.

How you can help

Submit evidence or photographs

Dated site photographs, notices, correspondence and documents are all useful. Do not trespass, and do not send anything you are not free to share.

Join the mailing list

Occasional updates on the planning file, documents obtained and actions that need support.

Social sharing toolkit

Short, factual text you are welcome to reuse. Please keep the wording measured — the campaign’s credibility is its strongest asset.

  • Jupiter Hotel Group has begun clearing land beside the EU-funded dune restoration at Meia Praia, Lagos, for a five-star hotel — phase one of three. We are asking for one thing: publish the planning file and assess the environmental impact before irreversible works proceed.
  • €2.2m of EU Cohesion Fund money restored the Meia Praia dune cordon. A major resort is now announced beside it. How are the two reconciled? Ask the question with us.
